A nude pedicure does not always need a separate gel-polish color layer. LiNTO PODO BASE ON-LIGHT is a tinted pedicure base range designed for a light, natural-looking finish within the PODO system.

Choose the finish before the shade

Ask whether the client wants a translucent tint or a more saturated nude. Show a swatch, but explain that the natural nail contributes to the final appearance. A light nude is not intended to conceal every nail change.

Assess suitability for coating first. Unexplained discoloration, discomfort, or other changes need appropriate assessment rather than camouflage.

Build color without building an apex

Follow the current preparation and adhesion instructions, then apply a thin first layer of PODO BASE ON-LIGHT and cure. Where more color intensity is desired, LiNTO’s guidance allows a second thin layer with separate curing, followed by PODO TOP.

The second layer is for the intended color effect—not a reason to create the substantial leveling associated with some manicure services.

PODO BASE ON-LIGHT was developed as a standalone tinted base. However, previous materials and the nail condition can change the recommended sequence. Where the history is unclear or a transition is involved, confirm the appropriate protocol with LiNTO technical support.
