Nail Cleanser, Dehydrator, and Primer: Three Different Jobs
Nail cleanser, dehydrator, and primer are not interchangeable. A cleanser prepares a clean surface, a dehydrator addresses excess surface moisture, and a primer supports adhesion. Understanding those separate jobs makes your preparation routine easier to troubleshoot.
Start with the surface
After preparing the nail according to your system, remove dust and cleanse as instructed. Choose a preparation cleanser rather than assuming that any alcohol-based beauty product will work: added oils or conditioning ingredients may leave an unwanted residue.
Keep the prepared nail free from further contact. Asking the client not to touch their face, hair, or phone is a simple way to protect the work you have just done.
Decide whether moisture needs attention
LiNTO DEHYDRATOR is intended for situations involving excess moisture, rather than as an automatic extra coat for every client. Apply it according to its directions. Repeated application does not replace a clean working surface or correct preparation.
Choose the adhesion step for the system
A primer or bonder has a different purpose: helping the coating bond to the natural nail. LiNTO NON-ACID PRIMER is applied sparingly to the free edge and stress area, without touching skin. Other LiNTO products may have different preparation requirements.
- Cleanser: remove surface contamination.
- Dehydrator: manage excess surface moisture where needed.
- Primer: provide the specified adhesion step.
If lifting occurs, record which products you used and in what order. A repeatable routine is more useful than adding another preparation liquid at random.
